I moved to Ghana two years ago and started ghanacellphonerentals.com, a cell phone rental service for people visiting Ghana. Now, why Ghana you ask? Well, because, in case you didn’t know Africa is the next frontier. Africa is currently in its industrial revolution phase and there are endless opportunities, especially for the adventurous and flexible. However, be warned the terrain is not for the faint of heart.

As an entrepreneur in Africa, you cannot expect to live the same life as expatriates do. In fact, you should not. Being an entrepreneur in Africa means that you must adjust to the local lifestyle as quickly as possible; especially the norms and culture. You will also face a lot more frustration and learn many tough life lessons along the way. Which means,  you will occasionally need some inspiration too. After all, many of us have left the comfort of our homes and families, as well as constant water and electricity, for this adventure, and well, sometimes it gets tough.

It’s why I have started this blog. It is my hope that entrepreneurs everywhere in Africa can draw and add some sense of inspiration to all of our lives. I know I am not the only one out there, and this blog is to remind you that neither are you. So enjoy, peruse the various categories and add some joy to your day!
